| | Columba's Rovers Football Club was established in '''(year).''' The club originally was designed amoung friends wanting to play regular football together in a league, The AFL(Amateur Football League). All players, managers, committee members and Chairpeople lived in the same locality. This was based around Rathbeale Estate. The first Chairman and true believer that Columbas Rovers could become the club it is today was Mr Brendan O'Reilly. Him along with Keith Masterson(Manager and Honourary Secretary) worked tiredlessly behind the scenes along with all the original players of Columbas Rovers. Everyone got involved and developed what is today one of the best Football Clubs in the AFL. |
