Steps

Desktop

1. Go to https://commons.wikimedia.org. This will be taken to Wikimedia Commons.
2. Create an account. Click the "Create account" at top-right corner of the website. Enter a username and password, and, optionall, your email address. Verify it's you by enter the text as show in CAPTCHA image. Click Create your account to create your account.
   • If you have an account, log in by typing your username and password, and clicking Log in.
3. Click Upload. This will be directed to Upload Wizard.
4. Review what can you upload. Once read, click the blue Yes button.
   • Works that you created yourself are generally OK to upload to Wikimedia Commons.
   • Works downloaded from the internet are generally not OK to upload.
     • One exception is old works, usually morre than 100 years old or more.
