The Hudl lineup by the British retailer Tesco were popular tablets first released in 2013. Tesco stopped selling Hudl tablets in 2015 and, in 2019, Tesco stopped supporting the Hudl servers, making factory-reset Hudl tablets effectively unusable. === Setting Up Hudl 1 Tablet ===
# Insert the microSD card into your computer.
#* You may have to insert the microSD card into a SD card adapter before inserting into your computer.
#* Make sure your microSD card has at least 1.5GB of free space in order to flash.
# Download and extract the custom ROM. On your computer, go to [https://github.com/remay/tmf-hudl/releases/tag/tmf-custom-rom-v1.0 TMF Custom ROM Release V1.0 on GitHub] and click the "hudl.20140424.153851.TMF-Custom-v1.0.img.zip" link to download the custom ROM. Extract the custom ROM.
# Copy the extracted custom ROM to your microSD card. Open the downloads folder and drag the custom ROM into your microSD card's root directory.
# Rename the custom ROM to update.img. Right-click on the file and replace the name with "update.img".
#* In Windows, you may have to show file extensions by clicking {{button|View}} and select {{button|File name extensions}} to avoid unintentionally renaming to "update.img.img".
# Take out the microSD card. Eject the microSD card and remove from your computer.
