The Hudl lineup by the British retailer Tesco were popular tablets first released in 2013. Tesco stopped selling Hudl tablets in 2015 and, in 2019, Tesco stopped supporting the Hudl servers, making factory-reset Hudl tablets effectively unusable. Until 2023, there were workarounds that involving changing the date, however it no longer works.[1] This wikiHow shows other workarounds on setting up a factory reset Hudl 1 and 2[2] tablet.

This applies to Hudl 1 tablets, and Hudl 2 tablets running Android KitKat.
