Updating Itself in Play Store[edit | edit source]
- Open Google Play Store Template:Android. This resembles a multicolored triangle.
- In older versions (pre-2017) of Play Store, you may see a white handbag with a triangle in it.
- Tap the account icon. This is at the top-right corner.
- In older versions (pre-2021) of Play Store, tap the navigation menu at top-left corner.
- Tap Settings. It is at the bottom of the menu, just above Help and feedback.
- Tap About.
- Tap Update Play Store.
- Close and wait to update.
Manually Updating Play Store through APKs[edit | edit source]
- Open a mobile web browser.
- In old versions of Android, you may have to do on a computer or a more recent device, then transfer via Bluetooth or a computer.
