Steps

Creating an Account

1. 

   Go to https://kahoot.com. This will take you to Kahoot home page.

2. 

   Click Sign up FREE button. It's the green button near the top of screen.

3. 

   Select an account type.
   • If you are a teacher or family/friend member, select what will you use for.
   • If you are an student or family/friend member, select your date of birth and username (up to 20 characters).

4. 

   Enter your email address. Use the provided textbox to enter your email address and then click Continue.
   • You can also sign up via Google, Apple, Microsoft or Clever.

5. 

   Verify your email address. Open an email program, find an email from "Team Kahoot!" with subject "Verify your email". Open that email and click the blue Verify your email button to verify it's you.

6. 

   Enter your password. Use the provided textfield to enter your password. Verify you are a human by clicking the CAPTCHA checkbox.

7. 

   Select a plan. Choose a plan to suit you, then click Buy now. If you don't want to buy a plan, you can use Kahoot free of charge with limitations (10 participants maximum, simple question types) by clicking Continue for free on Basic plan.

Creating a Kahoot Game

1. 

   Click Make button at Kahoot homepage.

2. 

   Go to Kahoot creation page. Click Create button.

3. 

   Choose how you start creating a game. You can start by using a template or generating a Kahoot game using AI, or create a blank canvas.

4. 

   Add questions.

   Customize the questions.
