Steps

iPhone 4 (GSM/CDMA), 4S & iPad 2 (except 2,4)

1. Update your device to the latest available version.
2. For iPhone 4S and cellular variants of iPad 2, you need to update your device using a computer.
3. Backup your device.

iPhone 5, iPod touch (5th Gen), iPad 2,4, 3, 4 & mini 1

1. Update your device to the latest available version.
   • For iPhone 5, and cellular variants of iPad 3, 4 and mini 1, you need to update your device using a computer.
   • If you are on iOS 8.4.1, skip to step X.
2. Backup your device.
