Writing a recipe on Wikibooks can be a fun and exciting way to make a recipe, whether it can be an appetizer or a dessert.
Steps
Find an recipe on Wikibooks to check if it does exist. Search for an existing recipe and look through the results to see if the recipe exists. File:Wikibooks searching for a recipe.png
Cook your own recipe and write directions. Start by writing the ingredients you'll need for the recipe and cook. As you follow, write the procedure for each step. File:Cook Step 1 Version 2.jpg
Alternatively, research an existing recipe, whether online or through cookbooks.
Start creating your own recipe. Search for a desired title, making sure it is title case and starts with "Cookbook:".[1] Click on red link to create the page.File:Wikibooks writing a recipe start.png

Add {{Recipe summary}} followed by {{Recipe}} to top of the page.[3]
Add an introduction to recipe. Introductions give people to summarize the recipe. It should have around 2-4 sentences.File:Wikibooks writing a recipe 2.png
Make sure you bold the recipe in introduction, e.g. by using '''High-protein pancakes'''
Avoid first-person language to ensure neutral point-of-view.[3]
